1. EvE servers just went down - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I was in the middle of a POS siege and EvE crashed. Now the launcher is telling me: No connection to the EvE Server, please check your internet connection. Obviously... I am connected to the Internet.....

My point with that post is that if you give mining ships the ability to defend themselves, more miners will participate in the whole Null/Lowsec areas. Bonuses to defense are not enough, it does no good to simply "survive" until more people show ...

* CCP was told that the main core issue had to do with the way EvE handled Emergent PvP Gameplay. And that Industry and Mining did not Mesh enough to allow Industrial/PvP Emergent game-play to compensate for the difference. IE: Defenseless mining...
